2005 We Love the Earth Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of the United States, the Kashmir earthquake occurred in Pakistan, and the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami followed. People realised that human influence had been the dominant cause of the observed global warming. The ratification by Russia brought The Kyoto Protocol into force, effective February 2005. We chose the theme of the year 2005 “We love the Earth”. The 10 th Exhibition
